Street dance, Origami workshop, House music — Another epic Wingify camp!

February 5, 2014

The latest edition of Wingify camp gave us all a chance to be part of something quite meaningful and groundbreaking. While we started with company updates and celebrating the monthly birthdays, the event got increasingly exciting as the evening activities unfolded.

An Origami workshop had the Wingifians use the paper folding technique to create colorful rabbits, whale, flowers and what not. By the end of it, our work desks looked more like they belonged to a craft school. The pictures say it all!

The Slumgods, a group of young B-boying dancers from the remote Khirkee village in Delhi, gave a breathtaking performance. Our gaming area turned into a stage for 15 minutes as they enthralled everyone with their headstands and hollowbacks. This was followed by a rap performance, take a look and be prepared to be wowed!

Later in the night, our CEO gave a demonstration of how to create House music and the engineering squad engaged in game and app development. The rest sweated it out at the Table Tennis tournament.
Here’s to more such hackathons. We leave you with our favorite image from the day!

Loving those colourful boxes. I always loved intelligent origami artwork, but can’t say I have the patience to actually learning it myself 🙂
