Just a few months ago I was wondering what I should do, and where my career is heading
towards. I was in my final year of college and was eagerly searching for companies where I can learn many things and move my career in the right direction, A company with great work-life balance and work culture. I gave a test and they helped me get to the interviews of various companies. The first company I interviewed for was Wingify. I was nervous as well as worried about how it was going to be. I’m very much thankful that I interviewed with Nitish sir who was very calm and polite throughout the interview process. The next day I got a call that I’m selected for Wingify and I couldn’t tell how exuberant I was.
Onboarding:
The onboarding was one of the smoothest onboarding I ever experienced. Since onboarding in
remote companies isn’t that quick and easy, But when I joined Wingify, I was amazed by the
environment and work culture. Everyone was cooperative and available whenever I needed any
kind of help. I remember when I joined, Shaurya sir was my mentor and probably one of the
most cooperative mentors I had, always ready to help and guide. He gave me a wonderful KT
and made me ready to work for things that I never thought I’d be capable of doing.
Work culture:
Wingify is probably the best company when it comes to work culture and environment. Even
after being a remote company, they keep us engaged with all of the fun activities and take care
of our work life balance. The best things I enjoyed are the memes of the memefactory channel.
Also, a Huge thanks to my teammate Anand who helped me whenever I got stuck at any place
and was always ready to help.
Wingiparty!!!:
I got a chance to be a part of Wingiparty and it was astounding. Got to meet all of my teammates
and seniors in person. We played various games and had a hell lot of fun. Also got to learn a lot
of things from them in person.
Learnings:
I never thought that I’d learn so many things in only a few months. I was part of a-team where I
worked on the jslib side of session-recordings and event driven jslib. I Learned many things
from basics like code formatting to shadowDom, Web workers and many more things. I’m glad I joined Wingify and got to learn so many things from not only seniors but teammates too. I had a
dream to work with intellectuals and provide quality code. And I’m happy that I got to do that in
this company. I still have a lot to learn and I’m sure I’ll have a great time as full time
Thanks Wingify for having me as an intern!!! Eagerly waiting to work full time for this wonderful
company and learn a lot of things.
