We are now back from our December vacation, a week long holiday that we go on in the last week of December. After the vacation, a single question echoes in cafeterias and chai/coffee breaks:
“So what did you do over the holidays?”
This time, we decided to answer this question collectively. Here are the pictures contributed by our team members that summed up their holidays – so you know the answers well in advance 🙂
Anshul Gupta from the data science team in Kovalam, Kerala doing yoga. Anshul said ” The recent holidays gave me a chance to connect back with my hobbies of Dance and Yoga, which were left long back. Shahnawaz from VWO design “had a short getaway from work and devoted it entirely to Pluto, working out, Ghalib’s poetry and of course cheat meals! Needless to say, I enjoyed it to the fullest. Now it’s time to get back in the grind.” Pluto and Shahnawaz
Ankur from VWO marketing visited the Golden temple in Amritsar. Reflected upon the decade that went by, and prayed for the new one to be as kind. Ankit, heading VWO engineering took a trip to the temples in Sanganer, Jaipur with his extended family.
Himanshu in our sales team spent time with his family and his love, Ceaser. Nupur from the recruitment team curled up with a book and sun bathed in Delhi winters.
Neha Virmani, in our partnership team “From waking up to this view, parathas each morning in 8 degrees .. to basking in the sun all day reading my fav book.. ending each evening with a rum in hand at the bbqs with bonfires with my closest .. Kasauli was an amazing break !!” Shubham Soni from VWO engineering spent his holidays with his wife at Hampta Pass, Himachal in sunkissed snow capped mountains.
Priyanka, our Customer Success Manager was at her hometown, Kanatal, Uttarakhand and she says this picture is made special not only because of the snow but also because it was clicked by her mother. Bhutan covers 72% forest area of the country which is one of the large biodiversity places in the world. People live with nature, which is one of the biggest life force”

P.S. Food was an important component of the vacation cuz that’s what happens when I visit my family ” :pI had my 9 month old nephew come over for two days at home and those two days were the highlight of my year end break.

Hope you enjoyed browsing the pictures of Wingifighters on their holidays. Holiday time was sombre for a few of our team mates who lost grandparents and were healing from their loss. Our hearts and prayers reach out to everyone of them. So many of us made memories in travel while a lot of us decided to spend this time at home – in the comfort of home cooked meals and the warmth of family. Every story is special.
